How to: Change an appointment to a meeting.
Solution:
Edit the appointment and click the 'Attendees' tab. Click 'Invite Others...' and select a name.
1) Click 'Daily', 'Weekly', or 'Monthly' tab.
2) Select the appointment.
3) Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Edit Item'. ( The Appointment dialog box appears.)

4) Click 'Attendees' tab.
5) Click 'Invite Others...'.

6) Select a name from the list box.

7) Click one of the following buttons:
a) Click 'Required' to include individuals who must attend.
b) Click 'Optional' if the individual is invited but attendance is not mandatory.
8) (Optional) Click 'Resource' to list resources available such as a meeting room.
9) Click 'OK' to return to the Attendees properties sheet. (The names chosen in step 7 are listed.)
10) Click 'OK' again to close the dialog box.
